P-64 Runs for First Time in Decades
The EAA AirVenture Museum's rare North American P-64 fighter - often referred to by warbird lovers as an "export fighter version of the AT-6 Texan" - was started up for the first time in more than 20 years last Friday, and it was only fitting that EAA Founder Paul Poberezny did the honors. New Zealand STOL Competition
Earlier this month, Jock Struthers' Zenith STOL won the Short Take-Off and Landing competition in New Zealand with a score of 50.4 meters. Fifty-five pilots from around the country competed in four weight classes at the event.

When most of us learned to fly instruments the term partial panel had a very specific meaning. Flying partial panel meant the attitude gyro, and usually the directional gyro, were not working and you were left with only a turn coordinator or turn & bank gyro to know up from down if you were flying in the clouds. But the new flat glass cockpits with the electronic gyros have redefined partial panel.

Zenith Blog Update ZENITH 750 BLOG: Playing Catch Up!
Even though the blog hasn’t been updated recently due to Chad Jensen traveling for EAA SportAir Workshops, the project has been making headway and we have been catching up on some lost time due to weather. The team got the right wing caught up to the left wing a couple of weeks ago, and the focus now is the flaperons on the work benches.

GAMA Releases Mixed 2012 Year-End Report
The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) reported mixed sales and billings results for 2012 shipments during its annual State of the Industry gathering Tuesday in Washington, D.C. For the first time the 2012 sales and billings report included data for rotorcraft and agricultural turboprops, which helped bolster overall results. Read more >>
